Transmission is the process by which the Mutual Fund units of a deceased unit holder are transferred to the claimant.
The claimant can be the second holder , the nominee registered on the folio , or the legal heir.
If the first holder of the Mutual units passes away, the units are transmitted to the surviving second holder. In case there is only one holder, the units are transmitted to the nominee or the legal heir.
To initiate the transmission process, the claimant needs to submit the Transmission request form along with mandatory supporting documents to CAMS/ WhiteOak Capital Mutual Fund.
The process can take up to 10 business days after submission of the complete required documents.
